Immunizations

A vaccine (or immunization) is a way to build your body’s natural immunity to a disease before you get sick. This keeps you from getting and spreading the disease. Together with the AAP, AAFP and CDC, Chelmsford & Dracut Pediatrics recommends the following immunization schedule:

Referrals

Specialist Insurance Referral

We are happy to help you navigate the complexity of specialty care. We refer to physicians who have proven their quality and availability to pediatric care. Please contact us at 978-256-4363 (option 7) to speak with our referral specialist at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment to help avoid insurance denials.

  • When referred to a specialist or hospital by one of our physicians, please request a referral from our office staff after making your appointment, at least, two weeks prior to your appointment.
  • Please be sure that the specialist is a provider in your insurance network and has all the necessary information when you call.
